From my perspective.

I was At the game and it was a really good game. We were right it in it 80% of the time.Started strongly and I commend them for that. But things really feel apart with our kicking game and with defence in certain parts of the game.Sandows kicks really comprised our attack asides from the awesome 40/20 kick that he did. Dispite the 40/20 nothing came from it when we applied the pressure.John Folau coughed up the ball in our 20 and really put the pressure on us leading to a try.Our extra 1 percenters really let us down. Wrapping up tackles and keeping the pressure on them.Again started the second half very strongly but yet again failed to turn up for each other which lead tries.Notable efforts robbo did really well and hoppa was really good, he ran straight out of dummy half and him and robbo really made metres up of the kicks into our 20.Ma'u and Gower ran hard, Watmough was ok and Faraimo was pretty good.I'm happy for Ritchie Fa'aoso. He was consistent and will take a lot out of the game.Not happy with Paulo or Terepo and sandow was very average.We were Right in the game but we lost heart as soon as something went against us.Bronco were solid and that's all they needed to be against us for the win.It was a good game but I'm disappointed because it was their for us to win, but to quote BA we shot ourselves in the foot once again

"That's nothing new though right I mean sticky was saying his team made 60 odd tackles before his team saw the ball and still came back and won.It feels like you could go to almost any contest any week and pick apart these wild inconsistencies within…"

"Some players need to get sacked from a club and risk losing it all before they really knuckle down and put in the work. Why did he get sacked, was it lack of discipline for footy and training or off field issues?"

Thanks for your perspective of being at the game. We can all agree that being there gives a real understanding of whether a team has turned up to play. I thought Terepo went ok to be honest.
I'd like your thoughts about Watmough's half time comment. He suggested that the refs had us back 13 metres in defence and still found fault with us. Did there appear to be a discrepancy in defence lines to you?

  Honestly I'm not sure 60's, I felt we doing it right from what I could see. The crowd was running a muck with the refs all night. Honestly the Broncos supporters were screaming bloody murder about us being off side or In a tackle too long. we crossed the the T and dotted the i's I that regard. Watmough was right with his call to be honest.

  It was a pretty ordinary performance by the refs last night 8-2 penalty count I think we should have had a few more a couple of offsides and Gillet hitting Manu high. But we had plenty of chances we looked flat at times and gifted broncos a couple of tries.

I was there as well, ONThaEELS, and you summed it up pretty much the way I saw it. I thought Manu was terrific and deserved to score a try just on effort alone, he was pulled down just short a few times and some of his hits in defence were solid, he never stopped trying.

All in all the effort was there, we just lacked a bit of class to finish it off. I thought Sandow went missing at times and took the wrong option on a couple of occasions.

Folau and Paulo should be dropped and I think Paulo needs more time in Wenty to develop his game.
Looking forward to Semi and Junior returning, they should make a difference.

We had possession our forwards dominated. We lack skill and ability to finish. Our backs are probably the worst in the comp at the moment. We didn't really ever look like scoring.

Yep I guess that's why we are looking for a fullback an outside back and and another back. We have the the muscle, still lacking class.

Honest I really hate to look forward to next year so much but that will truely be when the year when the eels step it up.

I was there too and I thought the game was pretty average.
