French to fullback

I hope BA plays young French there for the remaining 6 rounds. We are lacking creativity and he will add another dimension, Gordon can play on the wing as he is leaving anyway. French can then get some game time at the back for next year

  • French to 7.

  • It'd sure make the last 6 games a lot more exciting given that we are playing for pride and nothing more. Also give the fans some excitement for 2017. Absolutely no reason not to, if he makes a few mistakes, it's almost a good thing, learn from them now when they have little significance. If he doesn't handle it (unlikely) then can shift him back to the wing. Would also show him how much running he will have to do if he is to play there next year. You'd rather a few games under the belt now then have that "shock" occur next year in Round 1 when he plays his first NRL game at fullback and how physical/tiring it is being in the #1. Come on BA!
    • Totally agree no reason why you wouldn't. Nothing to lose and gives time to settle
  • Stupid idea , put him to fullback and the opposition will rain bombs on him just to bash him plus wear him out in attack , what a dumb statement ,thankfully no one on this sight has any say in team selection , BA knows how he wants the team developed and for mine hes doing just fine and I wouldn't be to sure about Hayne not being back , French to 7 that's real bright they will run big forwards at him all day or at least till he's hospitalised or put out of game for good ,right calls on both monto eel ,hindy just your usual no idea rubbish
    • Is that really necessary Tom?

    • Tom thanks for your expert comments...
    • Hahaha
    • Short wingers are easier to expose than short fullbacks.

"Need way more than that, majority of the players signed would be their depth. Even that is rubbish. As Johnny mentioned too, juniors will be hard to come by.
