French or Gutherson at fullback?

Now French has had 2 games in the top grade and shown he is not a liability, I would love to see how he fairs at fullback. However, Gutherson made a great case as he played well filling in for Gordon in RD9. in terms of who I think will be better, I think French as he is in my opinion a better ball player and adds quickness to our backline, plus Gutherson being a bigger body on the wing is key. Although Gutherson is not a good winger, better centre/fullback. So it is a tough dilemma to be in, but doesn't mean its a bad thing

Id go with gutho former Australian schoolboys fullback. Has a good passing game witch would free semi and bev up out wide

Either way I think it needs to happen sooner rather then later. Perhaps Gordon and French can rotate when in attack and in defence

I think gutho. He plays way out of position on the wing defensively French seems to slide a lot better.

I was thinking Hayne, Gutho & French could all be here next year & their best position is fullback. Imo I always thought Hayne would be a great 5/8 &wish Stuart stuck with the experiment longer, I don't think Hayne wanted to play there. I also thought Hayne was outstanding when got shifted to centre for Australia, but once again Hayne didn't seem overly happy. So what happens if Hayne will only come back to Parra if he gets the fullback position ? Why Gutho & French's best position is fullback. It makes me think that we won't be able to keep the three of them together for to long. Curious to know what everyone else thinks.

No way French should be FB. 2 games proves nothing, had needs a solid season on the wing

Give it to gutho for the start of next season unless Gordon moves on earlier

He should get first crack as the senior player French should be given a shot of gutho fails over an extended period of time

Gutherson would be my first pick at this stage. French has some terrific skills but he struggles competing in the air against taller players. I don't think French is overly confident in the air in the NRL at this point in time. I was also concerned that French had three cross kicks to his side on the weekend and never competed for any of the three kicks.
