BA has always focused his entire game plan on the forwards banging down the front door, I think our defensive deficiencies on our edges, spring directly from this.
I dont have an ear in the dressing room of course, but I believe When BA should be telling underperforming or completely out of their league backs to lift their game, stay on their wing etc...he's seemingly instead telling them 'you tried hard mate, not much more you can do when the forwards aren't on top'
Now this is to some degree a true statement, but I believe removing responsibility from backs, especially the younger ones, not calling them out on the absolutely moronic decisions they've made at times, telling them they've done a good job etc...well they continue to make the same mistakes because it seems as if they don't think they are making any, that the coach doesn't think they are making any.
BAs focus on the forwards, and his belief that they can get 99% of the work done, while also carrying 99% of the blame for wins and losses is extremely damaging to the quality of our backline on game day, as well as to our recruitment strategies.

True. Actually Will Penisini has been really disappointing the back half of the year especially in Defence ...Not sure if it is the lack of trust in the the players around him or what but he has gone backwards fast
Agree looking lazy or something 🤷♀️🤔
