Freddy Fiittler Fact Or Fiction?

Gees, it doesn`t take too much to impress Freddy Fittler, the City coach. Clint Gutherson plays half a game at fullback against the Dogs in the Rork`s Drift match last Friday and is selected as the City`s fullback!! I hope he goes OK--I think he will. Remember Gutho its not how good you can play, with Freddy, its how many schooners you can down in a thirty metre dash! Good on you mate--I hope Mitchell Pearce is not around!

  • I think Fred's been somewhat limited in who he can pick by the number of players making themselves unavailable for selection, Bob.

  • Who said he's fullback. The city squad was named alphabetically..

They also had 4 fullbacks pull out, so even if he does play there, it's hardly saying he is at the top of the list...
    • eels-brad : Fox Sport News had him listed as No1 in the City Team.

  • Anybody heard about the early days when Freddy and Gus lived together lol?
