  • I believe this reports spot on, somebody told me this a few weeks ago, you know who you are, 750k a season, good scoop to you sir.

Ive heard it was all but done a few weeks ago, everybody can take it to the bank that juniors gone, shut the gates, the horse has bolted.

    • I've been saying for months Snake he was as good as gone.

    • Thanks Snake, they don't call me 'Old Good Oil' for nothing.......
  • @ $750K per year they can have him. Good player but he will never win a match for you.

  • That blows. Definitely woulda like to keep junior. So 10 day cooling off period starts now. Hopefully he does a cherry-evans and we can still retain him.
  • I dont get why bulldogs can keep all their awesome and proven front rowers and yet we cant manage to keep an as yet unproven parramatta junior. I know we spent up big in other positions but surely the bulldogs have too.
  • My understanding is we were willing to go all the way up to 500k but we still got blown out of the water. I'm totally devastated to lose Junior. He's my favourite player and I think he has the potential to be the best prop in the game, but Junior will be on more than guys like Matt Scott and we have too many players we need to retain so I can't fault our recruitment on that basis. Canberra already have their spine sorted on reasonable money so they're in a position to go out and pay overs to get a marquee forward, which pretty much completes their side. On the flip side, I don't know if Canberra is going to get the best out of Junior. It won't be easy for him being away from his support network and he won't be super motivated having already landed the deal of a lifetime.

    • So its your fault!!!!

Phils favourite player = kiss of death ;)

    • I agree.

I actually wrote a blog here about Junior having the potential to be one of the best props in the game either last year or 2014. I think he's that good.

      Huge loss for our club.

    • Again Phil has nailed it. I also think he will be a huge loss. The raiders already have some excellent forwards so it will only make them stronger. Also watch for him to mirror Kelepi - support network is the most important thing especially for these Polynesian kids. I do hope he has taken that into consideration.

"Lomax isnt on our cap, hes was released and cap space freed. his breaking the condition of his release, we should not be settling for a mid level player unless its multiple players.
if we were smart he would not be playing rd1 against us either. "
