News: Young hooker Reed Mahoney is racing the clock to be fit after suffering a bad foot injury in Round 2. Mahoney would have missed almost half the season but could remarkably not even miss a game if he can get up for Round 3. “The last few weeks I’ve been out running and doing all that rehab stuff, working really hard to try make Thursday week, so pretty excited about that,” Mahoney told Triple M. “I’m pushing for the first game back, two weeks is a long time... hopefully I should be good to go”. Nathan Brown is suspended until Round 5.

Very strong team but I just have my doubts if they will risk playing reed if he is under done . 18 straight games is a huge ask coming off 6 weeks break ... hope I am wrong . Love reed he is a gun .

I am sure they are just guessing. Surely Alvaro, Kafusi and Stone are all in front of Gower.

Gower could be quite a player in this new rule . Ability to play at line , pass short and long and good feet for an old bloke . Be ideal on play 1 or 2 after six again called . I think teams may wedge in more and make the middles do 6-8 tackles and then hit edges . Interesting how teams play the rules and how coaches use their big men .

Why Peni Terepo, why do we persist with this guy? I would rather Gower playing lock and anyone else on the bench

  est-88? he is more than likely picked there because BA believes he will do a job on the BIG Broncos forward pack better than anyone else who might be available. Penni was playing great footy toward the end of last year and the beginning of 2020.

  Why the Peni hate on this site? He has been playing great and is a like for like with Brown out. Gower will also never let us down. Go Eels.

Thats Gold - Fox League releases Team Round 3, I thought it was up to BA.
