Foran will be at Parramatta in 2016

Why do I say this ?

1. If Foran has a get out clause stating Brad Arthur must be the coach.
* Arthur will be the coach and has another 2 years on his contract.

2. Another clause is most likely a major upheaval in the in the boards structure.
* The board has simply asked Kieran to reconsider an option in his contract.

3. Round 13 has passed. Backflips are a thing of the past.

*There's no pressure on Kieran. If he decides not to renegotiate, so be it. The options will stay and he will be in an Eels jersey.

* Nothing has happened for either side to change the fact that Kieran will be at Parramatta in 2016.

* The contract is signed, sealed and rubber stamped by the NRL, and no player can simply say he can opt out because a club has asked him to consider changing an option.

* There's no "I'm not happy they're asking me to consider something" clause. Sorry but the contract stands.

4. Steve Sharp knew about these clauses. It would be naïve to think the chairman of the board had no detailed knowledge of any player's contract. He did everything Foran's management asked of the club to gain his signature . Sharpie waited for the R13 and nicely asked his management to review an option.

Nope you are wrong the major sticking point IMO is that Foran has a clause in his contract that gives him DAMAGES if HE chooses to walk away. Those damages would count towards our Salary Cap ( Hence why the NRL are involved ). Insane to think that a player could be given damages if THEY CHOSE to walk.

  That would be the most hilariously stupid clause in existence if it's really in there. A contract giving incentive for the party to break the contract? Yeah I'm going to have to call BS on that. Even an 8th grader who'd done 1 term of legal studies would get red flags with a clause like that.

It is what is being reported HKF just read through the numerous News articles then consider recent events then on the balance of probabilities it cant be too far from the truth.

I'm really hoping with all my might that this gets sorted and Foran stays. We need him at the club, there are no solid halves worth chasing.
