In some good news Rugby League Week is reporting Foran could return as early as next week

I’VE got some good news for Parra fans – and couldn’t you use some right now?

The mail is that star halfback Kieran Foran could be back on the field in the near future – as soon as next Friday week against Souths.

Eels sources are saying that Foran is getting his life back together after his recent family breakup and wants to play again.

The Eels’ salary cap drama has only added to Foran’s resolve and he is keen to get back onto the field to help his mates.

Parramatta can barely drop a game between now and August if they want to play finals football – and the know they won’t be able to do it without a fit and firing Foran.

Foran was discharged from St Vincent’s Hospital last Friday after reportedly being admitted for a prescription drugs overdose.

  • On ya Foz

  • As long as he is in a good place to return, his health is still more important than a game

    • Absolutely spot on mate. We also need him right for the long haul not for just now.

  • I don't want to play for points if we have to lose anyone of importance to get there .

  • Love these guys.very tight!
  • Agreed. Except maybe Paulo, he would be a loss but really he is gone anyway.

  • Kieran don't rush back bud, this year is all but over. Don't force yourself back if your headspace isn't right. Your health is more important than the team at the moment. They will be fine without you mate.
    • I really want to see Foran back ASAP
But you are probably right Frank
    • I agree Frank.

"De Belin will do a lot of the clean up work, the 3rd man in for our defence. Hopgood is now not alone in that area. He will not be flashy but he will definately do his job."

"positives are Loiero is out. That is a big piece of their middle, he does a lot of clean up work in defence, tightens up the attack. No Katoa and they are umming and arring whether to play Ativalu Lasati or Joe Chan on right edge.
