    Carlo, a friend from Belfast told me a story many years ago.

    She went to a wedding in Northern Ireland back in the ‘80s, and at the reception, when the groom spoke, it was words along these lines:

    ‘I’d like to thank the flower girls, the bridesmaids, groomsmen, friends and family.  Most of all, I’d like to thank my best man who’s been looking after my wife for the last 6 months’.  He then stood up and left the reception.

    I don’t know if it was an $80K wedding, but the marriage sure didn’t last the 6 months.
