Last week the entire stadium got to its feet to applaud Nathan Peats for his unselfish act to leave for the Gold Coast so the team could play for points this season.
This week we welcome back Kieran Foran. He's our captain, leader and we're a genuinely top 4 level team with him in the side.
His personal issues have been well documented these past few weeks.
As such I think it fitting we stand and applaud Foz at the seventh minute mark this week against Melbourne.

Im all for this, it was really great to see everybody stand for Peats, it was a great show of unity and support, it was also pretty impressive stuff from funs under the pump themselves.
Im sure Foz would appreciate it and maybe Eels fans could make it a bit of a thing in future for incidents where we really want to show support to a player.

Unlike Peats who took one for for team and will more than likely never play for us again. Foz has been suffering depression and a breakup with his partner.
I think last thing he'd want is to be singled out, he's coming back to play with his mates as a team. They've been through a lot and I think we should applaud them as a team for the way they've handled themselves.
Maybe I sound heartless but I don't like the idea.

The last thing we need is for Foran to deal with any additional pressure the fans place on him during the game.
