Foran 2015?

Is there a chance, who doesn't love to dream, however I think parramatta in someway would've enquired to manly about what it'll take to get him out of contract early. No way in the world they would let him leave this year as the don't have a replacement but if it did happen ( hypothetically) we would at least $7 to win the competition gaurenteed.Let the discussion begin

  • Wow another hypothetical thread. Would you release youre half to a rival club just over a week to start agaisnt that team? NO.
  • I'm not saying rd 1
  • It would make sense if Manly consider Norman a possible replacement and there was a swap deal. Personally, I think Norman would go much better at Manly than he would at Parra, because Cherry Evans is capable of playing as a far more dominant halfback than Chris Sandow is; and when you throw Mateo in there, they also have a bit of additional ball-playing skill, so it would be a pretty reasonable balance of skills. And it would help them to make a play at Taumalolo for next year, which is where I think Manly are more lacking anyway.

    • I think they would prefer one of there own Jr's over Norman. JLJ was impressive last year.

  • I doubt it. Right now I see Manly fighting for a top 8 spot. They'd need Foran.

If DCE resigns and there was a half available on the market right now or if there was a half possibly coming through the ranks, then maybe they'd release him early.

But Manly would have to benefit and I dont see it happening.

    • 2015 might be their last chance for a while. I see it being down hill from here with losing Foran etc.

  • What about Jack Littlejohn?
    • If he's ready, then exactly a reason to let Foran go, but they dont need the cash. They would rather throw Foran in the reserves.

"I really like Samrani but if JR decides to give him up for MB I think that is a massive mistake.
IMO Samrani should be 1st drop for either centre/ wing if one of our starters is out. Brian Kelly is bog average and not going to get better.
