Hull KR have released Australian scrum-half Kris Keating just 12 months into a three-year contract to enable him to return home.

The 25-year-old joined the Robins from Canterbury-Bansktown Bulldogs as a replacement for outgoing skipper Michael Dobson at the start of the season.

However, he has struggled to settle in England for family reasons and was dropped by Rovers coach Chris Chester for the last two Super League matches.

Hull KR chief executive Mike Smith said: "Kris was unsettled and wanted to return home at the end of the season.

"He didn't figure in head coach Chris Chester's long-term plans and an agreement has therefore been reached to allow him to go back to Australia."

Its a common theme on here that people are loathe to criticise any thing to do with Parra including its players.
I think you call them apologists.

Probably the same people who support the clubs decisions no matter what is happening.
KK was shite the same as a few others on our books.

  Anyone notice these supposed junior stars that the club got criticised for getting rid of are faring? Mateo, Inu, KK, Tony Williams to name a few.
  Seems as though only our management knew these players would never accel to the next level.
