Maybe if BA used 17 players instead of 16 yesterday then there may not have been as much fatigue and the Eels might have held them out and won without the controversy.
I think after all these years with BA its pretty clear to see tactically he's not great. His game plans are pretty simple and we struggle to break down the best teams.
But... he has an unbelievable amount of trust in his favourite 17-20 players. They play for him and will back him for the way theyre treated. We need to surround him with the right support staff to help with game plans (Joey I think helps the halves here too). I also think he needs help developing the best juniors we have into first grade players. Dylan Brown and Reed Mahoney are really the only 2 success stories I can think of in his whole time here. Bevan French, Ethan Parry etc are the other end of the spectrum.
All in all , I think we're in an ok place at the moment. We have a great squad, a huge home ground advantage and our facilities are improving..but still a ways off calling BA a great coach. Many of the coaches at clubsworse off would kill for the luxuries and chances BA has been given. We're moving in the right direction!
You'll Hear a tremendous roar go up as parra take the field Just look at the blue and gold of the mighty eels Their running out the victors strong and kicking up their heals If you want to see how footballs played the go and see the eels Flick goes the ball from man to man Their strong in the tackle and sure with their hand They play it hard and fast that's the only way to win And when they post a try you should hear the crowd all sing [Chorus] Good on ya parra your brave and bold. Your mighty fit and True Blue and worth your weight in gold. And when we see the other side slow start to yield We raise our voices to the sky and glorify the eels.
I’ve always backed BA, with everything that’s happened here & now at other super clubs, that they now find themselves on their knees. I never felt hammering him personally helped. With people here pushing to have a Bennett, MaGuire, Green all winners it’s clear to me with out the cattle or the front office doing its job the club/team useless. Broncos, Sharks, Rabbits other examples. But I must say BA doesn’t have any more excuses (not that he used any) but nothing but a Grandfinal appearance will be a pass this year. I wish him all the best!
"From what I've heard Keaon asking price is 900k at least and south's just don't have that kind of money currently. They just brought in Fifita to. Eels are locked in on getting Keaon and should have no issues offering that deal "
"We've upgraded a lot of youngsters signed TDS long term also.Pezet for 26.
Id be surprised if we had 2 mill for 26 if we did no doubt we'd have had or announced a signing by now.
Galvin was the one we really wanted they were basically throwing DBs…"
"You need to be laying the seed now I've just seen an article where it mentioned we haven't even engaged or had discussion with NaS's PA as yet.
I hate the media like that they plant seed. They don't actually no unfortunately fans eat that shit up I…"

As intelligent as always Pauly.
One thing I did notice last night was Marty Tapau wearing a Manly jersey, could have sworn he was meant to be playing for us?

GWF are you calling for volunteers to help BA cross the road ? Sounds like in your opinion BA cannot do anything by himself .
Upwards and Onwards Pauly.
