ANALYSIS So it has been established that throwing Jarryd Hayne's boot out the back is not enough to stop him from getting involved. Next time, best rip his leg off and throw that out the back with the boot. The guy never ceases to amaze for Parramatta and he did so again late in the first half against Penrith last night. Hayne's boot came off in a tackle and a Panthers defender threw it 15 metres away, probably thinking: ''That'll fix him for the next little while.'' Wrong. Hayne played the ball, sprinted out the back, sat down and dragged his boot back on, and then sprinted back into the attacking line just in time to chase a kick. The Eels star didn't quite get to the ball first but he did trap Penrith fullback Jarrod Sammut in goal, forcing a dropout. Eels five-eighth Daniel Mortimer scored a try off the subsequent set and Luke Burt converted to make it 18-0 going to the half-time break.FULL STORY

  • It's commitment like that, just small things that us fans notice and appreicate the dedication and hunger each player have for eachother. It's what champion players do in a team of champions.
