THERE has been more than a little tension in an apartment in Homebush this week in the lead-up to the Eels-Panthers local derby tomorrow night.
Parramatta five-eighth Corey Norman has been keeping a watchful eye on his flatmates – who happen to be Panthers stars James Segayaro and Isaac John.
“The three of us have been living together since last year and get on well,” Norman says with a wry smile.
“But it has been a little strained this week.
“There has been plenty of banter and I’m sure there will be even more on the field.
“It’s all in good fun – but this is one game I really want to win and I know they are the same.”
Norman approached Segayaro about becoming flatmates last year and it has been a successful venture all around.
“I played against ‘Chicko’ a lot in the under 20s and the NRL when I was in Brisbane,” Norman says.
“So when I moved to Sydney, we started hanging out and after a while, I just moved in.”

Sleeps on Seg's couch, using a curtain as a blanket.
Wow who knew there was a place called Homebush in Darwin as well, where the Eels have been all week.
Must take them a while to get to training too, 5 hour flight each way
