Michael Gordon has been a great NRL player for 10+ years and we didn't sign him for the player he was in his prime, but father time has finally caught up with him.
His goal kicking % is done for the first time in his career, and the need of a current day fullback to be a ball player is a string he unfortunately doesn't have to his bow.
If the rumours are true he is off to the Roosters, I say thank you for your professionalism Flash and your efforts in the blue and gold. You wore the jersey with pride in every game and I couldn't ask for more from a player we recruited.

If he goes for a player swap id be happy.
His goal kicking
His passing on the sweep play.
But apart from those he's a professional and gives his all every game.
Him and IDG were terrible, he tries hard but offers SFA in attack. His kicking has also been poor, won't be missed at all.
Have you forgotten Hoppa Alan? Gordon will definitely be missed.
His best days are behind him but he's done well for us and was the maturity we needed at the time.
Tries hard and is very solid, but doesn't offer what we need at the moment. Need someone who can release Jenko & Semi down our left, and create something with Foz on the right. Goal-kicking has been VERY disappointing for mine. HE looks off-balanced at the point of impact, and he is pulling them left far too often
I was very happy to have Flash come to Parra. I would have preferred to see him come midway through last year but was grateful seeing him come to us this year.
I think his best days are behind him though. His kicking isn't what it once was and he doesn't have the spark in attack that he once had.
I'm ok with him moving on, as long as we have someone suitable to fill his shoes. Who is our next goal kicker? Do we have anyone?
