Premiership winning coach Shane Flanagan could make his return to coaching with the Gold Coast Titans reportedly interested in acquiring his services.

The Courier Mail have reported that the Titans are considering bringing Flanagan in as an assistant coach under Justin Holbrook.

Titans assistant Jim Dymock walked out of the club earlier this month after he was told that his contract wasn’t going to be extended beyond this season.

  • Dopes - ''nobody is interested in flanno, nobody would touch him with a 10 foot pole, he's done, will never coach again, reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee''

Looks like clubs are interested in flanno, which was obviously the case.

    • Of course any professional club who are seriously looking at winning something in the next 5 years would look at Flanno who has won a premiership not too long ago.

But obviously not Parra who enjoy being also rans - this proves there still are clubs with a desire to win the damn thing this side of the next decade

      • If he ends up at the Titans can't see him being an Assistant to Holbrook for long if at all. The Titans clearly want him as head coach

        • If he ends up as an assistant he'll be telling Holbrook how to do his job.  Won't be long before another club signs him as head coach if the Titans don't.

        • They said the same thing when he was an assistant under McGregor. The Dragons decided that he wasn;t the right person for the head coaching role there..

      • didnt he win a comp brissy?

      • Brissy _ Flanagan isnt a myth. He is an expert at cheating the cap and getting caught, overseeing the intricate whole of club illegal doping scandal, the raising of the middle finger as he breached his sanctions and continued to run the team in secret. The expert way he managed to oversee the sacking of so many Board Members and CEO's of Cronulla, that succumbed to his influence, the total disregard for player welfare, the magnificent way he tarnished the reputations of first grade footballers. The professional way that he brought the Cronulla club to its knees within a heartbeat of bankruptcy and the masterful way he lost every single club sponser, and was able to most cautiously prevent new sponsers for years partnering the cronulla club.

So this flog is seen as the saviour and BA is treated as the vilest of scum. Amazing !

          • If he cheated the cap and was guilty of peptides why wasn't Cronulla stripped of the premiership?🤣

            • The only thing that was to affect the premiership was the cap cheating, the peptides were earlier. The reason it was not stripped was they were cap compliant the day before the GF.
