Fitzgibbon signs three-year $1.5m Sharks deal as Morris exit is confirmed
It’s official – Craig Fitzgibbon has put pen to paper on a three-year deal with the Cronulla Sharks and will join the Shire-based club once his commitments with the Sydney Roosters finish this season.
Fitzgibbon, who has been part of the Roosters past three premierships as the club’s assistant coach in 2013, 2018 and 2019, will link with the club where his father Allan coached from 1988 to 1991.
The deal is believed to be worth around the $1.5 million mark over the three seasons, starting from November 1

Eels should sign Morris as assistant
Why?
Because if you zoom in on his face, I think you'll agree he kind of looks like an alien. That's gotta be some sort of positive for us going forward.
Too funny , that's like selling a Gemini to buy a Camira .
On a positive note , did anyone see the wife John Morris gets to go home to ? The sharks have done him a favour as he can spend more time imagining the plonker he'd be shacked up with if he wasn't good at footy.
