hi all , I'm looking to take my family( wife and 3 kids aged 1, 3 and 9) to the Parramatta v Souths game on a Friday night, it will the our first time we have been to Parramatta stadium and will be making a 7 hr drive to get there. kids are crazy eels fans( is there any other lol) wife likes watching league but doesn't follow anyone as we live in afl country.
what I am asking is where will be a good place to sit so that they can enjoy the game and the atmosphere and also what is the best way to get there as we will more then likely be staying in the city. thanks guys

Best spot in any stadium is in the grandstand and the closest you can get to the 50 metre line. But that is usually pricey and sold out. Even on the ends of the grandstand is decent.
Follow Slip's advice, and book as early as you can before all the good seats are sold out.
If you do you are in for a treat!
Eels Forever, I will take the other approach and say try and get tickets in the concourse either side doesn't matter. You are right there on the sideline and can hear the hits and players chat. Excellent vibe and I know my kids always got a kick out of being that close to the action and you never know they maybe even get themselves on the TV.
Trust you and the family will enjoy, the one down side I would say is make sure you feed your tribe before you get into the stadium the line up's & quality of food is average.
Anywhere at Pirtek is fine. I usually sit at the ends and you can still see all the action and the atmosphere is also terrific.
If you are driving, best bet is to park at the old hospital. Parking is $5. You can also park at the Westfield which is free after 6.00pm I believe.
If catching the train you can walk from Parra station to stadium. About a 10-15min walk, plenty of eateries on the way if you want to grab dinner before getting in there. Follow the blue and gold jersey's and you will get to the stadium.
Best of luck mate, trying to get to the footy with young kids is tough.
All about the vibe and atmosphere for me though the overall game view is obviously better higher.
Leave plenty of time for parking etc.
They often have something earlier for kids out front so check on that.
Really great effort with the drive and hope it's a memorable one for you all.
Eels Forever. If you get a ticket in the Swarm Bay in Bay 63, come and say hello to me up the back and we'll organise a flag for the kids.
eels forever, you're going to have to buy 2 sets of tickets mate. One set for each end.
Don't enter the ground until just after kick off, that way you can look thru the fence and see which way we are running. In the first half sit at the end we are running towards. At half time swap to the other end.
This way the kiddies will get to see all 15 of our tries up close.
Enjoy the match mate :)
the end zones are general admission. No need for two sets of tickets just swap at the half time break.
