Hi Guys and Girls just as the heading says this is my first time to write even though i have been checking out the site daily for the last couple of years. So here goes.
- With Sandow ($550k) and Lussick ($400k) leaving we should really consider going for Hodkinson ($700k). Not 100% on the prices but thats what people have been commenting.
- We need to bite the bullet and blood Bevan French. If possible due to second tier.
- John Falou does not deserve to play for us. As bad as we are he is a lot worse. He is the second biggest person on our team but hits the line like the smallest.
- Taka needs to get fixed up and operated on.
- Sandow well we are stuck with him for the rest of the season.
- Our forwards are hot and cold but should be different next year with Scott.
- Finally I have been thinking about the CEO situation and was thinking that would they go really left field and give it to Bill Moss. I know thats out there but from what I read on this site is that the only reason that he didnt get a gig last time was that other members on the board were blocking it and now that Sharp controls it that it could be achievable.
I currently live in New Zealand so I am limited to going to games but whenever they play the Warriors I make sure that I go. I went to the game in R3 and was bloody embarrassed. I really enjoy reading the blogs about the up and commers thanks to Ham and Forty and couple of the others. Sorry mind blank lol. 60s, Capt awesome blogs too. Welcome aboard chub, some good first points, about Moss, he wouldnt be offered the job and he wouldnt accept.
its a full time gig which he wouldnt do, he would be controlled and have his fate at the hands of the board whom he couldnt see eye to eye with.
Bill wants to be the boss and be in control of himself in business, not be answering to others, hes a successful guy and i dont blame him, hes realised in life that the only person you can rely on is yourself.

The departure of Sandow and Lussick will free money. Look for the Eels to sign a couple of backs with this coin (fullback being a priority).
French is a talent but they won't throw him to the wolves. He looks like being the real deal and managing such talent is important.
Folau's head space has always been the greatest challenge. Getting him switched on for 80 minutes (sound familiar?) will determine his career.
Hasn't Taka done well on one leg? His combination with Semi is crucial.

The reason why I say Hodkinson is that he is off contract, has less off games then Sandow, can kick better than Sandow, Dogs will go all out trying to resign Mbye, and having Foran and Hodkinson in the halves you can move Norman to fullback. Just saying
The only scenario would be:
Norman to fullback for one year then released. Bevan to fullback 2017
Foran and Hodkinson as halves.
It may solve the fullback issue.
Hang on.......
Then again, Norman is just starting to realise his potential. Why would we let him go?
Hodkinson and Foran pairing would be the least creative halves pairing in the game. Norman does not want to play at fullback and we should only put him there if we can't buy a quality dedicated fullback.
The main reason is we need a goal kicker for next year. You said previously that they will look for an outside back but is there one on the market that can kick goals too.
