Who do you think will be the first coach sacked for this season, and by which round?
There are a few on shaky ground, and a few whose team is not expected to do well, who may survive. My picks are:
- JT round 10 - The Wests coach could be the first casualty after letting Taupau go to Moanly and his public stoush with Farrah. Will Farrah remain a toxic figure in the club or will the fans demand JTs head? Only time will tell.
- Andrew McFadden - round 12 - The Warriors had added great strike power to their roster this year and on paper are one of the strongest teams around. However the only consistency with the Warriors is their inconsistency. Either a joy or a disaster to watch, which team will turn up this year?
- Madge Maguire round 15 - Souths have released both forwards and backs with only the forwards being somewhat strengthened by Sam Burgess and Cook, the impressive Dogs hooker. Their backs look poor and there are grumblings from the players about Madge's coaching style. Don't expect them to make top 8 this year. Will Crow hold his nerve because he certainly cannot hold his tongue?
- Trent Barrett round 26 - If Moanly don't fire this year after significant strengthening of their roster the rookie coach could be shown the door at season's end.
- BA round 26 - If Parramatta miss the 8 after significant strengthening of their roster the coach could be shown the door at season's end.
Other notable mentions are Brown, the Knight's coach and Henry the Titan's coach, but both have very average rosters and are not expected to feature this year. I expect they will be given latitude and survive this year.

IMO JT will be the first sacked, if he cant get the tigers going by round 10, cya later
JT round 6
Des Hasler by the end of the year.
Henry cos the Titans are shit
What about Kevvie Walters?
Lets get a bunch of young blokes together them send them out on the piss and expect everything to run smoothly.
And lets do it a week after idiot Pearce ruins his career.
Jeezus - brains of a stick insect.
He has until round eight.
JT will be under pressure if Farah plays and does well. Robbie will no doubt play great leading up too origin time and if he is going well but the tigers are not, watch JT to be shown the door also.
I slightly agree Braeden, Moanly have bought some good players but their forwards are still weak imo. Taupau is a bit up and down while Miles is past his prime. And they're still trying to offload forwards? Any injuries and their pack is worse than last year. Walker may or may not fire in the halves and they go backwards with Lyon, another veteran, slips into the role. Again they have almost no backup in most positions so injuries could again cruel them this year. We can only hope.
Jason Taylor by round 9
McFadden at the end of the year
henry by round 15
