Finally a bit of luck goes our way.

Did we deserve that victory? Probably not. Every 50/50 call went our way. Except for the knock on in the lead up to the Warriors first try.

BUT, normally we're on the receiving end of bad luck, bad calls, bad referring and silly penalty counts.

I don't feel bad at all.

About bloody time I say!

  • Well said

    • A good victory  . A lot of potential opportunities went amiss or could have been a bigger score Parra’s way IMO.

We get a few dubious calls our way and Eels supporters are turning themselves in to the police

Do you ever see a Storm supporters do that

      stop being losers

      • Lol .

  • Missing Ferguson in defence , a couple of tries were let in that normally wouldn't have

  • Don't really know what the last penalty was for.  It was a good legal big hit

    • Yes but only when they play to potential just the same as Parra when play to their potential .

    • Slugg I didn't see the game, I turned the radio off when the warriors equalised with their 2nd try with us, I turned it back on late to see how far we were behind, only to hear the try being called for Gutho, and then the Warriors got their last try, I turned it off again as I thought we had lost the game.  When I saw the final score on the News and we had won, I was not jumping up and down but pleased with the 2 points, and the win.

As I reflect now, I don't care how we won, but while it was ugly and filled with controversy by some accounts, if this was 2018 then no way we would have won, ugly wins are as good as pretty ones, but more intense and with nerves at witts end, but for me, I am not just pleased but proud to be an eels supporter and we can win ugly there's no disgrace in that.

What Mack said above and the points he makes are good enough for me, the third point he makes was gone over by the ABC callers all agreeing that the Warriors had a player hand out with the ball touching the fingers and going to the player who scored, they all reckoned it was a knock on and not called.

        • Fair nuff, I certainly hope the benefits are more tangible though.
