  • I reckon he will go really well. Brett Kenny said he really liked Field and would be his choice to replace Brown. Kenny should know what hes talking about.

    • All we can do is get behind him and the team and hope they get this win and get it injury/suspension free.

      Best of luck Jai

  • It's not a bad choice. I reckon you will see Gutho and Field swap during the game.

  • Keep up it simple Mr Field. Take the line on, push up in attack, play the short stuff, and only pass if the recipient is in a better position to take the line on (zero hospital passes). Let Gutherson take the ball and effectively play 6 on the left inside the opposition 20.

And most importantly get your shoulders ready for some tackling...

    • Good luck to the kid, he will probably offer more in attack than Moses does especially Inside he opposition 20 where Moses fails.

      • He's nippy that's for sure, if we can cut that bloody mistake rate down and get a better share of possession he could be a factor around tired forwards and retreating defence...fingers crossed for him I hope he has a blinder.

  • He seems largely a running half and has pace to burn, so it's a sort of a like-for-like to an extent. Hope the kid goes well.

  • Seriously wasn't rocket science this decision.

I agree 100% Nitram. Just play you're role. Expect traffic.

    Best of luck

  • I think his defence is better than what people think as shown in the knights game. I recon in attack he may play fullback with Gutho doing more playmaking.

  • I think he will go well and it will be easier for him having Moses running the team compared to D. brown who did well but it was a huge ask for him to manage a whole game with his experience.
It's also good that Field had those 3 games to get use to things. His defence was very good, averaging at least 20 tackles with only a few misses per game
