  Im more swaying towards sending him and inu off to NZ asap. And we should look to forget resigning MK and KK as well. I can see this team without the 4 of them very very easily

    I have Mateo as my 6 as well..... I don't mind this option either though... although KK will prove everyone wrong eventually. The guy is quality

  Mateo is not fit enough to play 5/8. The coach has said so himself. Let's put Humble on the bench and give him a run at 5/8 at some stage with KK at hooker. Whoever plays best at 5/8 then leave there.

    Seemed fit enough 12 months ago.... Da also said that interchanging your 6 would spoil the flow.... since we have no flow... nothing to spoil... problem fixed

  Cant say I agree. To call him a gun is a massive call. I dont think our halves are playing anywhere near good enough but I really cant see Mateo doing any better. He is much slower and lazier than he has ever been and he seems to hide at crucial times during games. I had massive wraps on him a couple of seasons ago but he has done FA since then. He is obviously down in confidence so throwing him into a pressure position at a time when we are really strugling for creativity seems like an excercise in futility.
  
  Dont know what the answer is but I dont think it is Mateo at 5/8.

    Does anyone know who our conditioning trainer is? I have never seen such an out of shape Eels outfit, Mateo, Moi Moi, inu, just to name a few have lost all their pace. Mateo does not look solid at all and Inu ffs couldn't catch Hornby!!

    We tick most of those boxes. Parra lost the game last night because they couldn't get points out of the 6,7, 9 and 14. Inu, Wright, Tahu (throigh fatigue) didn't have the mental application to play a full game. In D in particular. But everyone else is puting in.
    
    However, when a team like the Saints gifts you field position (in the first half) and you don't come close to scoring. It wears you down mentally and you don't know where the win will come from. I belive we need some size and speed in the backs... Grothe will help no doubt. But once we tick that box, I still don't know where the points will come from... unless Mateo moves to 6 and plays out of his skin.... which I can't see happening but is definately worth strong consideration

  Still Hayden Knowles... Our D is still very good in the big scheme of things and we matched it with Manyl who are an 80 minute side.
  
  Don't think its the physical conditioning.... just the mental conditioning and 2 halves that are young.
