Fergo

ferguson played the last 30 mins with a broken leg. Not the best way to start your career with the Eels in the casualty ward.

  • Nothing too serious. Would have to be a slight fracture for him to be still competing in the match. Nothing to see here
    • The injury’s not the problem , I’m more worried about Fergos decision making during his rehab.

      • He's a Dad now, reformed character. You can say what you want about Anthony Mundine, but he does straighten guys out and gets them off the booze.

        • Yes he’s done wonders with his training partner and cousin James Roberts .

I think what you meant to say was , Anthony has managed to brainwash a couple of players into joining his religious sect which involves no drinking . It really has stuff all to do with Mundine other than he sold them his Islam beliefs.

    • He's a changed person apparently. He doesn't drink
      • Our club could change that.

      • He had VB in his hand last night hahahahahaha

        • Looks like Fergos back on the grog lol.

Soon as the game finished he had the realisation he was coming to Parra, he hit the piss hard and was last seen on the stadium roof on the phone to choc and in tears..

    • Fergo.. Classic Eels.
Roosters recognise that he has hit his peak and he will start to decline from here (probably pretty rapidly ) and are willing to only offer him a reduced 1 year contract. Smart operators.
In come the Eels... 3 year contract - big money.
You would think we would learn after the Watmough, Foran, Jennings debacles but we still roll on....
This is O'Neill first order of business... Take the recruitment decision making squarely away from Bushie.

        • Ok  I'll bite.. Morris will be lucky to make the side.  He's not on big money and his move there has probably nothing to do with football.

Whereas the eels need Fergo 100% for his footballing skills.

"Thanks, Kurupt. It's a fascinating case. The timeline of public / media releases in the footnotes is also an interesting study of framing public narratives."

"Thanks, Mitchy.
It's interesting, Crawley was emphatic on Feb 12 in backing the Eels, labelling Lomax’s case “complete nonsense.”
Since then, there’s been no follow-up column on Lomax despite significant reported developments, including messages…"
