Favourite for New Zealand coaching job.

Former Parramatta Prop Forward, Captain and current NSW Cup coach Nathan Cayless is the favourite for the NZ head coach job. Thank god for that, take him, the bloke stifles the talent around him. Great player and seems like a great bloke but he is not a coach.

NZ are looking towards naming a coach already in the system, Cayless is the current assistant coach for NZ. This comes after Wayne Bennett expressed interest in taking the NZ job if offered.

  • I accidentally bumped into cayless at a night club back in his playing days, he actually stepped back into me. He turned and gave me this filthy look, mind you I'm 5'6 and weigh 70kgs,  what a weak gutted dog person.

    • Only time I was around where he was not great was a fan bowling day, he turned up for 2 mins then left, looked miserable.

As captain you set example for the club.

  • I agree with your sentiments LB and remember my sons telling me they ran into him and Hindmarsh on the Gold Coast and had a really good session with them......the summary off that experience was if you were looking for the 3 Stooges, those two were automatics, just need to find the 3rd one.

Let's hope we  can get rid of him now before he does anymore damage.

If Jarryd Hayne ever wins his appeal, he would be a great choice!........I have heard for along time he has an amazingly good football brain......now that would set our "woke" board alight .....Lol

  • I think at that level and the talent they basically coach themselves and any dope can do the head coach job and yes when it comes to coaching Cayless is any dope.   His resume is very poor and he has not won any elite trophes as a coach none bubkas ...

I guess right place at right time ...always wins out

    • I understand cayless has been appointed.....thank god !!
