Favourable Bunker calls and Media bias

Anyone watch the Panthers saints game. Cleary put on a shoulder charge that made saints lose ball and the Panthers scored on the same play.

The commentators called shoulder charge as it happened but after the try was scored were very quiet about it. 1 replay showed clearly a shoulder charge but yet again no blasting the refs or bunker and bunker didn't call it back and they just moved on despite clear evidence.

Now if that was any other team Parra included you can guarantee commentators blow up and complain for next few minutes and show replay after replay, or if it happened the other way around it would be pulled up for further review by the bunker.

It will be interesting to see what match review committee say or charge as Cleary has priors for shoulder charges as well. Not a high grade offence but by charging Cleary they will have to admit the bunker didn't do its job pulling it back as no try.

Nothing new, media and ref bias has been happening for forever and a day. Parra need to figure out how they get in on the game

What a disgrace that penalty was in the roosters game that handed them the win. How can you challenge a mistake your team made and get a penalty for the previous play?, surely that's outside the rule.

    I'm 100% convinced the roosters are just making up the numbers come finals time, they are one of the teams i am reasonably confident we can beat if we are at full strength minus mahoney.

      We certainly need to play a lot better than we did last time we played them or we be fooked.
      
      In all honesty on current form the Broncos would have beaten us tonight had we played them.
