Fastest in the NRL

Who do you guys recon is the fastest in the club. I have Jai Field, Dylan Brown and Waqa Blake in that order. I would put Blake ahead of Dylan Brown but I feel like he has lost some of his pace as shown in the Manly game (I know he was tired but other games as well I feel like he is still fast but slower that normal). D Brown is actually very fast. RCG and Marata are probabaly our fastest in the fowards.

Who do you guys recon are in the top 15 in the whole NRL. I have:

1. Josh Adoo Carr

2. Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow

3. Xavier Coates

4. Jai field

5. James Roberts (I feel like constant soft tissue injuries have made him have a lower top speed. But still has electric acceleration)

6. Alex Johntson

7. Matt Dufty

8. Dylan Brown

9. Ryan Papenhuyzen

10. Kalyn Ponga

11. James Tedesco

12. Roger Tuivasa Sheck

13. Philip Sami

14. Valentine Holmes

15. Remis Smith

Notable Mentions: Nick Meaney, Suliasi Vunivalu, Tom Trobjevic, Dane Gagai, Tyson Frizell, Waqa Blake, Blake Ferguson, David Nofalouma, Jason Saab, Brian To'o and Charlie Stannes

  • I wish each club picked their top 2 or 3 fastest players at their teams and had a competition for NRL's fastest players over 100m.

  • RCG.

Well, name any other Eels player to run untouched for 50m to score lately.

    • Baha he actually is pretty quick for a foward especially in cover defence.

    • I am pretty sure Marata ran 70m when he played for Cook Islands at centre.

  • Over 100 metres I say someone like coates it ado carr be the quickest.

  • Apparently over 40m Dylan Brown is the quickest at the club, Fergo is the quickest over 100m & Nathan Brown is the quickest forward

    • What source because to me Jai Field is much faster than them.

      • The Courier-Mail up here happened to print physical testing from every club bar the Roosters a couple of days ago coincidentally. That’s where I got my info. They were sourced directly from the all the clubs S&R departments.

I can tell you Maika Sivo squat lifted an NRL record 285 Kg, he wanted to go for 300 but the bar couldn’t handle it. BA was quoted as saying they had to stop him getting any stronger because he has virtually no body fat.

i can tell you the last person to try and beat Gutho in a 2km time trial was Dylan Brown in 2018 preseason and he ended up in hospital on a drip overnight from exhaustion.

    • I think I read Waqa Blake over 100 metres was best at club
