One of the greatest number 7's in the game. It would be an absolute travesty for Sterling, Kenny, Price, Cronin, Ella, Grove not to be more recognised into Rugby League's greatest. The only criticism I have of Sterling as I do of most ex rugby league come commentators is not speaking up about corruption and dishonesty in the sport
I'm gonna miss him. He's been part of my footy life for over 40 years and for me he's The Greatest Eel.

Sterlo is a legend! priviliged to have seen him play when i was a teenager particularly 1986.... was quite youngish the other 3 GF wins.
