  • Done more research and it's unconfirmed

Some sources saying his going to Hull, others saying no.

Does anyone have any more info?

  • Hes best day are behind him i think

    • True. But solid as a bench forward as can play edge or middle

  • Been a great player for the Eels and will be sorely missed. Im glad hes going to UK and not playing in another team against the Eels. All the best Manu in 2020 and beyond!

  • I don't know where is going, but I spoke to Manu at Wenty a couple of weeks ago and asked him his contract status? Manu said this year is it but we're speaking with the club. I said "you should have plenty of interest if you want to stay here mate? "That's the plan Rowdy" I asked him if he would consider going home to NZ, he said no, this is my home now I love the club and my family love it here.

I hope and do pray that the club offer him a good contract to stay for another couple of years. He will be a great example of fearlessness for the young forwards coming through.

    • Rowdy if we do he be only good for wenty  contract so i dont think we will offer to much to stay so i hope he does goes over to the UK to fished hes career

      • He’s an A grade player not reserve

    • Rowdy he would be one of the off contract forwards I would be signing if I had any say.  Two years would be the optimum and he could be a big influence on the young forwards and help them out. For me, the likes of Alvaro, & Taka are not players to keep. I think that Tim will also look to retirement as well. Players that I am very much divided on getting extensions as far as the forwards go are Terepo and Moeroa, if they were able to get their form back and start playing well again then its another matter.

  • No Man must play out his last years with us

  • He is still a starting edge forward. Actually was not a fan last year as he was too one dimensional. He has added some extras this year and is looking very good
