Fantasy Team List Tuesday

I thought to ease the boredom of a long offseason that we continue with a fantasy team list to roughly correspond with the official team lists of the regular season. Hopefully will stop the endless team lists that have already started.

This is my fantasy so the simple rules are:

  1. The list to only come out on a Tuesday. To avoid multiple lists then the list closest to 5.00pm without going over will become the official list and the only list commented on. Hopefully mods will delete all other lists.
  2. Only players contracted to Parra at the time of making the list are to be used.
  3. Responders to comment on the players in the positions selected and why they agree or disagree and the reasons why.
  4. At the end of the list any players suspended/injured and unable to play next week (or longer) to be mentioned. Therefor a new player will have to be picked for that position. The original player will not be available until the time available.

Fantasy Team List

Fullback - French. Position obvious, a try scoring machine who will improve Parra's strike power.

L wing - Tuha. A good performer in ISC and likely to be re-signed and promoted.

L centre - M Jennings. A good attacking and defensive centre.

R centre - Radradra. A change of position to allow this explosive player more involvement in the game.

R wing - G Jennings. A new player familiar with this position.

Five-eighth - Norman. A dynamic world class playmaker.

Half - Gutherson. A full off-season of training to prepare for this position.

Lock - Scott. Good defensive player with a handy offload.

L SR - Ma'u. Mr consistent in this position, good attacking and defensive player.

R SR - Morera. Another full off-season will further improve this player.

L Prop - Mannah. A consistent performer who plays the ball quickly.

R Prop - Brown. A new recruit for this position. Has a good offload.

Hooker - IDG. A good defender but with not much creativity.

Reserves:

SR - Edwards. Gives Parra much needed punch when he comes on.

Utility - Taka. Able to play almost any position including trained as hooker in the off-season. A shorter time on the paddock likely to result in fewer injuries.

Prop - Vave. A big body with a good offload. Will provide plenty of punch late in the half.

Prop - Wicks. A good defensive prop.

Injuries from match: Gutherson will miss next weeks match.

Suspension: Morera accidently tripped over Roberts (Broncos) and uncle Wayne whinged like a stuck pig, said a deliberate kick and one of the worse he had seen. Even though looked like a slight touch and an accident he was suspended for 3 matches.

"LB, Clint, Pops. I’m also on the “both are great to have” bus, and they complement each other. My only question mark is the long-term sustainability of keeping both. TSD is tied up, but I'd say the club would be keen to extend Ryley before Nov 1st…"

"Well Ryles was adament, even after Smith debuted that he wanted a 2nd Hooker. Tried to get Brailey for a while.
He must see Smith as something else. But i do not see him signing Da Silva on decent coin and for so many years just to be a 14 or…"
