As a general league supportor, i respect & acknowledge talent and champions of the game.
But for some reason, every article or blog out in the media about Hayne. There are so many fans in the code that bad mouth or show no respect to what Hayne has done.
He has been outstanding ever since he has come into the NRL. Fair enough he has some flat spots during the year, but lets not blame Hayne. His only 21 and his playing along side 'no-name' halves'.
Throughout the history of the code, alot of the greats have not done what Hayne has done already and his still got so much to give.
Hayne might seem to be arrogant and can show a lazy and uncaring image (but this is far from true - i think he is a great person & he is not a loud attention seeking hero). But its still a shame that the whole of the NRL community is not behind the greatness of what he is bringing to the game.

Trust me Buzz EVERYONE knows Hayne is great, its just that alot of people dont want to say it out aloud so they use the method of bringing Hayne down to lie to themselves!!
I for one could not care less who bags him out or who doesnt appreciate him because all i can say in reply to that is WE HAVE HIMMMMMMMMM and YOU DONT :)
Ausralians have the worst reputation in the WORLD for trying to tear down those who rightfully deserve recogniytion, praise and respect for their achievements.
Commonly known as "The Tall Poppy Syndrome"
As long as the Parra fans and supporters continue to show him the LURVE - all will be good.
It is only people who don't really know anything about the game that bag him.
Australian sports watchers are biased and only sound stupid when they knock the bloke.
Hayne this year has been either leading meter maker or 2nd behind Gallen from game 2 against the Eagles.
People who say 2 good games this season are full of crap.
MOM against Manly x2 - One of the best on field against Dogs in the first game.
I think whe was MOM against Souths first time also.
Should have been given MOM in Melbourne win (and would of if not for the love tap)
3 Consecutive MOM's in last 3 starts against Cowboys - Panthers (who they said we could not beat) and Bulldogs.
Only player who offered anything during Origin.
As for the game against the Broncos where Ando bagged him - Did anyone watch it??? Yes a handling error during an attempted quick play the ball cost us a try. However he was trying his guts out all game and anytime we looked dangerous it was Hayne at the helm.
I would hate to say we are a one man team, however it seems when Hayne fires we all do.... If he is not there it takes creativity from the halves which we lacked before 3 weeks ago.
Bottom line though people bag Hayne, because they refuse to accept how goo the kid is.
Forget Slater, inglis Falaou etc, Hayne has it in spades above them all.
The accolades in the tele on Sunday comparing him to Wally, which saw rugby league fans slaughter him were placed on him by one Freddie Fittler. Not the tele.
Tell me who is in a better position to judge talent or make comparisons, a league legend or a bunch of blind league wannabes??
Case closed!!!!
We will judge him at the end of his career when he has played 300 games for the eels, 30 tests for Australia, 30 off SIO matches and won 3-4 dally M awards etc. He will be remembered as one of the greats of this game. In the meantime, just sit back and marvel at his ability and say to yourself as I do each game - DID THAT JUST HAPPEN - HOW DID HE MANAGE THAT !
Media is about selling papers nothing more nothing less......
People with little or no self confidence will always see a person who has bucket loads of self confidence as arrogant.
Broncos and Maroons (and now the Storm) are ARROGANT
Hayne is supremely self confident and backs that up on the paddock.
