Have we reached the pain summit for 2018 or will BA & the payers inflict more pain on eels fans this year? we already know there will be more coming our way next year.

It's impossible to inflict pain on a carcass.

So true Kram, I chose not to watch our game against the Knights with my son, he's been through enough. It was the first game I've missed through choice in years and as a result, both my son and I had stress free Saturday night.
I've been through the 90's and our most recent run of miserable seasons, I had the passion, hope and energy to push through these periods but my flame is out. I'm sensing most fans are getting to this point, I will always be loyal to the club, and I could never support another club. I do have the choice to shut off from the NRL all together.
It's hard to imagine that a club rich in resources and a strong supporter base can get it wrong so often.
The NRL appointed Maxwell who appointed Gurr to clean up the club and get us back on track, now Gurr and Maxwell want to appoint McGuire to run an forensic inquiry after our club has once again imploded? That will do me.
Joseph it would be a form of child abuse to make a child watch a eels game let alone make them support the club .
When my nephew was born a few months back I bought the little fella some eels gear , my brother in law grabbed what I had bought and threw it in the bin and told me he didn't want his child to be mixed up with failure .
I had no response other than telling him that I will order the kid some Roosters gear .
We are playing the Cows, Rabbits and Dragons the next 3 rounds, stock up on 1. Kleenex 2. favourite pain med and 3. draw the curtains and turn out the lights, nothing good is coming our way at least for 3 weeks.
I like the part about stocking up on kleenex, drawing curtains and turning lights out... that sounds like there can only be a happy ending.
