Just got my kids pack. Not as much for the kids as last year? Bit disappointing for them

  • Yeh my kids were a bit dissapointed with the packs, based on their expectations from what came in last year. I liked the bucket cap and the bag always gets used.

From an adult pack POV I was impressed with the quality of the cap this year, which is really the only item I care about.

    • So the kids don't get a cap this year I take it?
  • Why don't they just give discounts on the membership or other supporter gear? Why do they waste everyone's money with crap items?

    • It's a business.
They make money from the crap we get, it's like buying Easter show bags....your not getting quality,....think of it this way, your helping the clubs bottom figure and that is what a member should be doing.
    • Exactly why I don't buy showbags. All that does is add to landfill. To buy a membership package you would expect discounted tickets. From the club's perspective these are guaranteed gate takings which they may not otherwise get. The clubs market memberships on an emotional basis, but but from a consumer perspective you want something for your money.
    • If you buy a season ticketed membership you get a discount on your tickets, if you buy a club membership you also get a discount on tickets you decide to buy for all season.....not sure what else your after.
Being a member and supporting the club is about forking out your hard earned to help finance the club you support.....not the other way around.
  • Got my pack today and I'm happy with it, the bottle opener is pretty cool, stubby holder will always get used, the key ring is good, the cap doesn't fit on my head cause it's too small but the design and quality is much better and the rest I don't care for.
  • Ye have to admit it was a pretty crappy kids pack this year. Lucky my kid is to young to appreciate just how crappy it is.BTW does anyone know our membership numbers now the auto membership updates have all been processed? If I recall correctly we were sitting at under 2000 before the autos went through.

  • Bucket hat. I like it, because we're always trying to get them to wear that kind of hat, but they always the peaked cap, so hopefully they'll be willing to wear this.
