I just read earlier that the Dragons are thinking of tabling a 2-yr deal?
Troy, it's a real doozy, isn't it? On the one hand, it's hard to deny that Falou at centre for the Eels would increase our chances. Absolutely no doubt. And it's also easy to imagine his skills giving us an X-Factor, which we have lacked for a little while. But on the other hand, of course, there would be the inevitable looming possibility of Falou plunging the club into a social-acceptability crisis through some intemperate airing of his personal convictions. It's like he would be the mother of all Mad Monday Crises waiting to happen. All year long!
Maybe the test of it all is to ask "what if?" He goes to Dragons, and most of us would hope he fails and drags them down with him. Bitter bastards after 36 seasons? But he ended up at the Eels? I suspect most of us would find excuses! Some of them would make sense (public vs private). Others would just be total flags of convenience.
He would be a great pick up for any NRL club. His skills and paying ability are without question. The only concern would be what type of influence would come with his aquisition to a team. Exampke, Hayne was great until he seemed to become the Mr. Fix it and everything centred around 1 player instead of the whole team.
Apparently the Dragon have requested to register him for this year. If they can sign Izzy after we got knocked back, then bring Semi home as a centre. Damned salary cap!
Anyone know what Semi is earning playing yawnion? Watched a clip only the other days of his carving up again and he is playing centre. If the NRL wants to stop talent leaving they need to wake up to what is costs to keep that talent in the game!

Much rather a healthy and fit Kotoni "the foot doctor" Staggs
est 88 Falou and Staggs - imagine that!!
Retirement home fodder, and you never know we might have "one of those trangressors" in our team.
