Saga of the 5: Out of the NRL sports section yesterday but into P 6 is a repeat of the 5's submission to the court regarding NRL did not follow their own rules---- Getting hard up to repeat the same story.
Jnr. NRL will not register the contract until the integrity unit has interviewed him. Named as 19 for the next game. also said he came cheap at around the $100k mark. That's likely all they have under the cap, so probably a rewrite of his 2 year deal to give him a good fella's reward.
Foran's INJURY, A totally new injury & nothing from the old one. He injured his Bicept tendon,
Dargan & Doolan named in the ISP game against Warriors, purpose to see them together against the harder team. The game could be a shootout for an NRL jumper.

Tim Mannah comes out & said to the same crowd, (condensed version) There are worse things than having a bad season with a footy team, its sad news for the team, but also a good chance for Foz to get his body right.
I am encouraged by the good people that suround us at the club each day including coaching staff & players. Our priority isn't the finals but winning the next game. If we do that we will try to win the next game after that.
Its not ideal but I also have a lot of confidenct in the players who come into the squad.
Other words from my perspective is that BA & Tim have had a gutful & told them to suck eggs.

One other item is in regard to Josh Jackson. His manager is wanting to finalise with the dogs as they risk losing him as other clubs interested in him including Canberra, Penrith, Parramatta & Manly.
It seems we're really intent on getting an edge back-rower if the rumours of Rochow and now Jackson are true. Wonder if this means we're looking to shift Scott into the middle next season with Tep officially donning the "prop" role?
Had been out all day, & whats the bull around this with Scott. Reading the header I am thinking it was something that has come up from last season rather than this one.
It's just a cleverly written gee up based on some other silly (and completely false) rumour.
Scott is contracted and is staying.
