Fa'amanu Brown and Tex Hoy

Article I read this morning is stating that both of these players have been released effective immediately.

Not sure of the reasoning behind Tex Hoys departure, but it said Brown wanted to come home to be closer to family.

Digging further, another article had us in the top 4 possible destinations for Brown, who is a pretty handy 9 and a rep player for Samoa and NZ I believe.

Wouldn't mind both at a good price, but Brown in particular would be a pretty handy pick up I think.

  • I wonder how Tex Hoy has been developing in SL. He would be a pretty good back up fullback for Gutho.

  • Hoy always seemed a bit light.

Nu Brown would add value on the bench

  • Hell yes to Nu Brown. Can play Fullback, Halfback, 5/8, and Hooker. Definitely the utility we need in the 14.

  • We have just signed Lomax.

    Let's keep aiming higher.

    • Nu Brown was integral to New Zealand beating Australia. We could do a lot worse.

      • No thanks

  • He is a damn good kicker.
