Washington: Steve Bannon has launched a twin attack on Donald Trump's family, dubbing his daughter Ivanka the "queen of leaks" and calling her husband, Jared Kushner, "immature".
Bannon, the former Trump campaign chief and White House aide, said Ivanka Trump was a "fount of bad advice" during the election and once called him a "f------ liar". He also claimed Kushner "doesn't know anything" about Trump's supporters and blamed the President's son-in-law for meetings that left the campaign open to a charge of cosying up to the Russians.
According to the article, Bannon reportedly told advisers that President Trump has 'lost a step'.
The President himself is not beyond Bannon's ire, according to a 7000-word profile in Vanity Fairmagazine of the man credited with helping win him office.
Bannon reportedly thinks Trump has just a 30 per cent chance of making it to 2020 - the end of his presidential term - given the chance of impeachment or being removed by his cabinet under the 25th amendment.
He also joked the President is "like an 11-year-old child" and told an adviser he would consider running for the White House if Trump does not seek re-election, according to the article.
Bannon's spokesman denied the latter, saying he is "100 per cent not running for president".
The comments mark another rift in the souring relationship between Bannon, who took over the running of the Trump campaign in the final months, and the President.
Bannon was credited with convincing Trump to adopt a more nationalistic agenda before the election and joined the White House after the victory. But he left in August after a bitter feud with other aides and returned to Breitbart News, the hard-right news website of which he is executive chairman.
Allowing Vanity Fair to join him on a speaking tour to Asia, Bannon does little to disguise his frustration with the President's daughter and her husband, both White House advisers at the age of just 36.
"He doesn't know anything about the hobbits or the deplorables," Bannon said of Kushner, referring to a nickname for Trump's supporters. "The railhead of all bad decisions is the same railhead: Javanka."
Bannon recalls a meeting when Ivanka accused him of leaking in front of her father. "She's the queen of leaks," Bannon replied. "You're a f------ liar!" she reportedly hit back.
Abbe Lowell, Kushner's lawyer, said: "Steve Bannon may regret not being in the White House any more, but that is not an excuse for peddling false stories about Jared or anyone else."

My calculations indicate the most ‘Ex’s’ like to take pot shots at their former ‘partners’, ‘bosses’ etc...... It’s normally called things like: jealousy, bitterness, unforgiveness etc.... and my calculations are seldom incorrect.
Agreed; Trump has shown more than Obama in 12 months of presidency. People dont like his straight fwd approach; but fail to see what Obama and co did not do besides create trillions of debt

Obama could have been a great president but loss control of both houses of parliament early in his presidency and the Republicans did everything in their power to stifle him and blamed it all on him.
On the debt, Obama had to recapitalise the banks, after the R had reduced oversight of the banks which got the world into this mess in the first place, and also some of their industry including their car companies. Just watch their debt spiral out of control after these new tax cuts. I said from the beginning that Trump would only look after himself and his mates and this is the payback. Not only do these tax cuts really benefit the rich their tax system is skewed to assist the rich, holiday homes, planes, boats, all playthings of the rich, are tax deductible.
Obama tried to give tax cuts to the lower paid workers buy taking away these perks but was stifled by the R yet again.
Bannons a very Brillant man, huge fan here, Trump should be keeping him a lot closer than he has, Bannon would make an outstanding president..
Trumps very silly for moving away from him, Kushner is a fool hes spot on with that, what we are seeing here is a power play between Steve and Don, this is just Steve asserting a bit of dominance and pressure on Don.
I see it a bit different. I think Bannon was guilty of pirating Trump’s agenda. The reality is that Trump isn’t a true conservative, he’s more of a moderate Democrat who refuses to buy into the socialist agenda. I can imagine serious conflict between him & Bannon. I don’t think there is any coincidence that some of his best legislative outcomes have happened since Bannon left.
Agree 100% on Kushner. The guy has absolutely nothing to offer and is punching way above his weight with Ivanka.
I think it would be great to have Bannon in the team but not at any cost. For me, General Kelly seems to be key to having stability now.

Exact opposite way around Brett, Trump used Bannon for his agenda because he knew it would get him into office, thats a fact.
