LB put up a post saying we had 30000 members surely we can come up with some decent TPA's.

My reply was as follows; straw poll only no committments, just indicate your willingness if you could afford it, if you cannot afford it, still just show your wilingness, enough support may bring some prepared to pay more.

Yes, with 30000 members I reckon we could get 1000 to pay $1000 each into a "coterie type fund"  that's a million dollars, plenty of small busineeses would have a crack at that.....I would put in a grand for the appropriate fund....who else would, just doing a straw poll here?..... call it the "special supporters group" and someone like LB could head it up!

Gunna put this up as a blog, just to see what sort of response we would get.

Over to you people, and yes Phil Sim went down this track and ran into some road blocks but in the first instance dont worry about the negatives, lets just see how willing we could be.

One further example was that Broncos in their early days had a group of businessman, I think they were called the "gallopers" and they were instrumental in Brisbane keeping their stars of the day.

Response....yes i would be willing or no I would not ?

  • My understanding is that such an arrangement would contravene "arms length" TPA provisions. After all we would be expecting our money to be used to secure players from a certain club ( in your suggestion obviously that club is Parramatta ) !! .

    • You have my money with the proviso Arthur is removed as coach.

      • That may lack practical implication, so much for staying positive after the first two posts, both over 70 years old I am loathe to say.

        • It wouldn't matter if I was over a hundred and seventy years old, if Arthur is coach you don't  get my money. How's  that for fucking positive.

          • 11036223686?profile=RESIZE_400xIf your a hundred and seventy you are a better man than me Gunga Din....LOL and yes it was very positive!

PS I suppose Mrs Arthur with asistance from JA would not suffice then.....LOL

Good onya Seth, I love an old bastard that sticks to his guns!

            • Seth should replace his computer chip with one of his Viagra tablets hand inserted into into his hard drive . That should result in a heat up plus at no extra cost a bonus of a big increase in memory .  LOL .      ( By the way Poppa , speak for yourself and Seth mate , I am not yet a privileged and well deserving of recognition 70 years old gentleman but I would love to get there.Cheers  )

              • Driza what's  your effing go. I don't need Viagra it's  always like a babies  arm holding an apple. You young c..t.

                • LOL Seth !! Go champion !!!
