I have to get my head around feeling nervous about not making it to a Grandfinal and winning it as well
The other side of me says we may not see this type of leadership board for another 30 years or so as our dear Frank the Tank dwells on all the time.{understandably}
What do you do try and enjoy the moment or get frustrated with anything that destroys this momentum?
Not easy Huh? It is very difficult sometimes to focus on the here and now--I struggle with it all the time even though I am a unicorn. Are there any half-glass full people out there?

For the believers, we are paying $7 for the comp.
Get on it if you believe!
Believing is one thing Snake, putting up your hard earned is another lol...
I put a peanut on the boys at $15 but 3 peanuts on the Storm at $5.50.
If they don't win it we will
I've switched my feelings off. It's great however it means jacknif we don't win games come finals time. Anything can happen to any team as we saw with injuries last year. The good thing is the boys still have a lot of improvement in them. It is satisfying being consistent
It's no fluke that we're putting ourselves in a great position for the finals. Players love playing for brad and are staying for less to do so. I don't think he has lost one player he really wanted to keep.
For me its about the team putting themselves in the best position for the finals assault. We definitely can win it. Enjoy now and trust the process
I'm enjoying the moment while it lasts TAD.
Its not often since 86 that we have seen the ladder look like it is right now. I'm happy and at the same time, cautiously optimistic. Any experienced rugby league supporter will tell you - optimism doesn't guarantee a premiership, only on field results can.
All the best laid plans, all the top recruitment and retention, all the best players in their positions are no guarantee of winning anything. There's luck involved too. Maybe we're due?
You keep up the positive vibes TAD I'm sure plenty others including myself will feed off it.
Mate we Don t spend nearly enough time celebrating a good play or try as we do on a dropped ball or missed tackle .You have to get what you can get out of the season other wise you are wasting your time following sport
Nice blog Tad. I hear you mate :)
Let's just enjoy the ride and hope that we're in our best possible shape at the pointy end.
I got a real kick out of watching Jakob's first NRL try celebration with his teammates. Makes you feel like a kid again :)
