Everything was looking good...

...till Raiders lost to Warriors.  Looks like Ricky Stuart wants his Raiders to play us in the second week...he didn't use his A-team today.  Playing Raiders on their home ground scares me more than playing anyone else on theirs.  We most likely would have played Bunnies had they finished 4th.  Bugger, we might as well have not gone for the points differential yesterday and stayed 6th on the ladder.  All depends on our first game next week of course but if things go as many expect, we'll be travelling to the icy cold capital in a couple of weeks.

  • Cheer up

you never know - Raiders May beat the storm and then we won’t have to play them

  • What a road to the GF

    Raiders then Roosters then Storm

  • Mate, so many things need to happen before you can even think that far ahead. Relax. Enjoy the week. One game at a time.

  • If Souths beat Easts then Easts go to the same side of the draw as Melbourne and we don't play either of them until maybe the GF. Everyone else is beatable. We want Melbourne and Souths to win to give us the path of least resistance

    • Logic doesn't matter around here P.T You know this.

  • 3 finals wins in a row to play in the Grand Final. Big ask, but possible. Maybe a Bradbury Premiership!!

  • Wait... the Raiders tanked so they could play the best of the 4 teams beneath them? Seriously.

  • Or they are on the slippery slope, their form has been a bit up and down lately, a win over Storm a few weeks ago but losses to Roosters, Manly and only just scraped home over Sharks last week, might be a good time to play them.

  • Broncos at Bankwest

    Raiders in Canberra

    Roosters in Sydney

    Storm in Sydney

Whilst we'd have the crowd and a home ground feel against the roosters and storm, winning all these games in a row just doesn't seem possible. Fingers crossed ...

    • if parras going to win they have to play these teams , its no worse then playing manly again  or thr roosters and maybe sharks,

we have to take it one by one,,,we must beat the bronco's , if we win as most agree,,,we can beat canberra, we hasve too..

then theres two to go.... a good  season ...its time the eels played as one.....beleive guys we can do it...good luck..

Sort of says something about you as well, going to some effort to "white ant" seems a little too familiar!"

"We have gone past that Wiz. His communication skils would make it be very difficult (people skills also fit) to be a Head coach. A talent scout or specialist fits definately within his realms."
