Evans 1 week ban, Tapau 1 week.

Tapau fsces a 1 week ban with an early guilty plea.

Evans faces a 1 week ban regardless of whether he challenges the charge at the judiciary.

Evans will fight the ban.

  • And so he should. Nothing in it.

  • just use the Sam Burgess case as precedent

  • Lame. Kane Evans is so important to our side now. I was really looking forward to us FINALLY having a full team.

Anyway, we look like a force going into finals.

  • Phil Gould wasn’t joking when he said in 10 years time we will be playing touch football, seriously what a joke, unfortunate collisions happen. There was no mallace in it.

Evans should fight it, it’s still a week if he loses.

  • Are you sure Evans will fight the ban ? We have a history of just rolling over.

Absolutely shocked (but not surprised) that both hits were graded the same.

Stone was absolutely ironed out with an elbow to the head whereas Evans hit Parker with his chest/shoulder.

Yet again - The NRL judiciary fails the ‘pub test’  - the NRL continue to treat the fans like mugs.

    • They weren't graded the same Evans was a grade 2 and Tapau was a grade 3! Evans will get 1 week regardless and and Tapua 2 or 1 but possibly 2 weeks.

      • Thanks for clearing up !

  • he will get off

  • If he is only looking at max 1week definitely worth challenging. From what I saw there was no mslice in there and the Manly player fell into him. Evans is 3m tall- what is supposed to do in that situation? Crawl on his knees?
