Not a blog to bash the kid but have been watching his games closely because when we did lose him it was a bit of a blow. But haven't seen a heap from him to say we lost a special half. He may mature a bit more as he gets older but Volkman looks like a better nrl player ? Just wanted you guys thoughts on him

He started very well, but will need at least 2-3 years of full NRL experience to really see if he has the goods. I guess he has a great coach in Ricky....but maybe he wants to come back and play 6 for us lol
He definitely is an out and out 7 good kicking game but just has a lot of errors in his game currently. So young lol

I totally disagree, I think he has shown he is very capable of leading a team around the field and has a good kicking game that will only get better.
He isn't the right 7 for the raiders at this point in time, they have a roster ready to win whereas he is at the start of a big learning curve, why they decided to move on from fogerty is mind blowing.
The problem for the raiders is there is no creativity in their team and sanders is trying to fill that role. Their whole attack has been based around pure athleticism, they will out muscle you, beat you with speed and out offload you.
Sanders has the makings of a long term nrl 7, he may never be representative level but I wouldn't write that off completely.
He does show some flashes of good but looks a bit out of his depth currently. Probably needs a few more years yeah
He's not even a full season in FG and he's getting compared to a guy thats been to 4 different clubs and still is average as shite.Get back to me in a season or twos time halfbacks just don't happen overnight they take years to develop years.

They roughly same age and same amount of first grade games. Volkman hasn't really had much of a chance but he's shown lots lol

Not a good sign they've gone and signed Coby black from Brisbane to. He's a 7 so they probably don't rate sanders unfortunately
