After watching the press conference and BA's response to whether he's tempted to give Ethan a run at 7, i'm convinced there's a personal issue there.
BA is absolutely refusing to play him. I'm not sure they've got many options left after last night's perfomance.

maybe he is not ready!!
He's just as ready as Blaze us playing 6
At the very least Ethan as a bit of a kicking game as well as being an organiser.
He will help Dylan so he can go back to his natural running and support game
No he's not or else Sanders would have got the nod.
If Sanders was ready he'd have proved it in the off season that's where you win jobs as depth or a starter.Sanders obviously didn't do that hence why he wasn't picked.
Looks like the coaching staff sees something in Blaize that we've yet to see. Shame he doesn't look to have natural speed... that is one of 'many areas' of concern for this team.
Not sure what they're seeing but it's not his defence. He's missed so many crucial tackles it's not funny.
Cooper Cronk and Matthew Johns have stated that Brown is not a 7 and should go back to 6. I'll back thier expertise any day of the week and twice on Sundays over the the hack coach.
Sanders or Asi in at 7 is the natural fit and has the least disruption to the team.
Unfortunately, BA won't consider plan B and will just double down on HIS decision. Ego, plain and simple.
Absolutely... BA seems the sort of person who upon hearing that, would just dig in even more and find greater resolve to stubbornly stick to his guns and refuse to do it differently. If / when questioned about it, he'll then just get defensive and narky. If he couldn't swim and fell in the drink, he'd sooner drown than admit he can't swim and yell for help.
That can't be right Hugo.
Former players like Cronk and Johns have no idea what they are talking about.
The luminaries on here have stated that Brown is a 7 so obviously these two former 1st grade players have no idea what they are talking about 🙄
Pretty much everyone on this site (myself included) were pre-emptively hounding BA for probably going with Asi.
Is Asi really the best answer we have?
Yeah, you're right Captain. I expected Asi too.
After last night's massacre, with our defensive resilience and confidence potentially shot to pieces, it's probably neither in Sanders' interest nor the team to debut him at NRL level right now IMO. I wish we could. It's also a reason Talagi can't stay in the halves right now. His defence has been woeful and he looked quite despondent yesterday.
So, it's either Asi or Hands (a former goal-kicking half) for me with Dylbags. They have NRL experience. Asi can play either six or seven.
Matto is another option. He switches on and off at times and his lateral defence can go missing at times. So, I'm not sure he's a better choice. And if he's playing 80, it'll be worse. I'd rather he come off the bench for impact through the middle. He prefers the middle these days by the sounds of it. Tarzan's aspirations of being in the halves seem long gone. We'd be weakening one area to strengthen another. Still it's better than Talagi at six.
First and foremost, above all, I think right now we need to work on our defensive resolve across the board (not just six) or we might as well start planning for Mad Monday and it won't matter who we have in the halves.
