Honestly no idea. If it was up to me, i would be using Sanders as ammunition to get a player that can help us in 2024. Go to Canberra and say if you want him we want someone in return. Now we will not get anyone of note but we could get a player of depth. Like a Winger or a Centre.
If he stays, should he play NSW cup? I mean yes as if we badly need him we can play him, though i would be signing a back-up half anyway that could step in no issues. If we keep Sanders then so be it, if he plays cup and even FG then he needs to do his job for us. Would i be immature and leave him in Flegg? Well yeah, but it would not get to that as i would let him go to Canberra early. They are in a soft rebuild, Canberra wont be good in 2024, Sanders will be thrown to the wolves and may suffer badly from it and team performance.
The player id prefer from raiders is Cotric that's who id be asking for at least. Raiders have a stack of young talent but no room to use any of them.
I'd take Cotric. Big, powerful body with a big ceiling and he's only 24.
I'd prefer Seb Kris, he's a natural left centre with great hands and he's a tough defender. Nik Cotric I've always found to be somewhat underwhelming.
Would also take him, just seems like raiders have 3-4 guys in cup who should be playing nrl but can't get a run. Savage Strnage Hoppa HSS ect
