Ethan Sanders

Expect Ethan Sanders to be playing reserve grade this week already. This guy is the real deal.

  • How old is he?, remember JA was chosen in first grade at 18. Not saying Sanders should be playing first grade at 18, no young half should be unless they are something special, it will be interesting to see how BA handles sanders considering the way JA was promoted well before his time.

    • He turned 19 this year. So I expect him to get an NRL contract next year as our back up halfback while Asi will be our back up five-eight and fullback. The difference is that when you see the highlights, Sanders is actually a dominant feature with his running and passing game. He was MoM in the SG ball final as well and played flegg last year. He is definitely special from what I have seen.

      • I thought we only had Asi for this year.

        • There is a mutual option on his deal for 2024.

      • If he's potentially that good, I can't see him hanging around in reserves for 4-5 years. Unfortunately for him both Dyl and Mosses have a long term contract

        • Yep ... can't keep 'em all ... on the plus side, our halves pairing is growing into one of the best in the comp ..

  • Surely his nickname is Colonel?

    He's make a wicked winger...

    • Different spelling

      • Yes but they might have similar tastes .

        • So your saying they could both be Linger Finking good?
