Jeff Robson is only good for one thing and thats defence. If Ando is showing him loyalty then put him in Lock. But the time has come for Morts/Mateo as halfs to take control of the side. This is the worst game I have seen in years.
Maybe the players have got the contracts they wanted and now don't give a damn. If thats the case then its time Ando starts making changes or sacking players or he needs to be sacked himself.
As for Matt keating, too slow and has no idea. Kingston was a big loss. Maybe we should try KK in number 9. If that doesn't work then sack them both.
Parra starts slow in a season but I am sick of it. I could see last year we were gelling slowly and you can see things happening slowly but this year we aren't gelling as a team. Its simply getting worse.

The only trouble is, we would need a hooker who is fast and who goes for more than one or two dummy half darts per game.
Our forwards need someone to set up a platform with fast dummy half play. Our attack up the middle is so predictable and pedestrian. Has anyone noticed how week in-week-out we are picked out and smashed every time?
I would love to see Anthony Mitchell given an opportunity off the bench, he has a good football brain and is very dangerous out of dummy half, I think our dim-witted forward pack need an inspirtational leader out of dummy half and folks, Matt Keating simply is not providing that...
Robson is a little more durable in this sense but to play him at 14 is not a wise move either, if you intend to bring him on at hooker. DA tried this in the trials and Robson, like MK has slow ball distribution from hooker. At the end of the day it's either Keating or Robson in the halves or neither of them play.
How about we bring someone who has been trained to play hooker.
IMO:
6) Keating
7) Mortimer
13) Mateo
14) Mitchell
Mitchell only needs to play 20-30 mins a game. This firstly gets him experience in the top grade and allows him to be exposed to NRL and secondly, it's not so much time out there that his lack of size will hinder him. Mitchell has got spark about him and knows how to get the forwards rolling over the advantage line. Playing him at 14 for 20-30 mins a game, my guess is more 20-25 tbh, will allow MK his break but allow us to have that up-tempo role that Kingston provided for us last year. His young, ethusiatic and got zip. Playing either Robson or KK at 14 out of position is not the answer because whether you like it or not MK is currently the best hooker option at this club, putting either KK or Robson into hooker or 14 to play a hooker role will only hinder the side.
You're all currently complaining about MK not doing his job well, not getting the forwards rolling forward or passing from the ground, etc, etc and I couldn't agree more!!! However he is currently the best option we have. KK and Robson can't fill the role better than him, so why should we take a step backwards. MK and Mitchell to the hooking roles, end of story.
And take this as you will but Mitchell only played the first 20 or so minutes for Wenty last weekend and spent the rest of the match on the bench injury free. So whether that's an indication of things to come or not, we'll have to wait and see.
