I'm continually looking for something useful on this site, and there is some good stuff, today the 3 year voting rule for football club members was great to know.
But fair dinkum, it's impossible that so many people can have so many mates connected to the club.
A quick "audit" of fearless predictions in the last week has it running at about 100% bullshit.......eg "Orford will sign today"....."Cronk is coming....now he isn't....now he is..."
If we put as much energy into more productive things we could actually achieve positive things, such as ideas to boost our membership, more flexible membership package suggestions like Souths have for country fans.
Ultimately we own the club without us the fans it falls over.
Let's put these hours of "blogging bullshit" to better use.
I'm open to suggestions, but I think membership drive is a good place to start.
Why not have a 2 or 3 year plan to have the biggest membership in NSW for example and as a collective we could really impact this.
I don't know, just frustrated with mindless useless speculation.

And besides, brainstorming ain't gonna do much unless u have connections in the right places. TB and 1eyed hav put in a huge effort - not just a blog of suggestions!
I didn't like that this year I had to collect my Blue Blood Membership or that the only email I received all year was the one this week for Four Nations. I think a little more work in the background needs to be done
The info I got on Ox I beleived to be good, as the person who passed on the info has been right in the past. It seems now that it wasn't too far off the mark, maybe a little exaggerated but the Orford talk has certainly heated up in the past couple of days. I still beleive we will sign him soon.
My comment relates to the volume of rumours on this site, most of which are not founded in anythng crdible which is the fault with all social netwroking sites unfortunately.
I do think though that we tend to report heresay as fact too often, its probably well intentioned as I'm sure you are, but you would have to agree that in the past 2-3 months its ben overwhelming so much so that now there are anti-rumour blogs like mine and other taking a tongue in cheeck dig at it all......no offense intended dan 47.......cool?
