Ok, this is pretty simple.
Whenever politics starts getting mixed up with football, we clearly have certain members who favour various factions and we fall into personal attacks and name calling.
I give a lot of my time to 1Eyed Eel, the off-season is a chance for me to concentrate wholly on my business and give a bit more time back to family. I don't appreciate having to deal with the crap that's going on right now.
So here is how it is going to be until things settle down again.
There will be zero tolerance for any personal attacks on members. You will simply have your account deleted and that will be that. Until balance is regained I'm also cracking down on vitriol directed against any individual, including the administrators of our club. I'm fine with people expressing an opinion on how the club is run or whatever, but if you're just going to simply repetitively slag off with no thought or rationale discussion you can find somewhere else to do it.

Good words Mr 1eyed it has been absolute crap here with all the attacks on Ossie and Bongo at the moment, i go onto this site to find out information on our great club not personal attacks on admin people or members of the site

Here here ! Good Blog 1EE. There is nothing more frustrating then seeing countless blogs more or less saying the same shit. As for the personal attacks on other members especially certain moderators who recently a whole thread was dedicated to I find a little dis-heartening but a credit to the Mod who put it right up there in Top Blogs to prove a point.

Yeh i enjoy reading bongos views as well as members .
Bongo is unusual, yes we all know it ,but he is blue n gold all the way ( As I am ). So dont BAN bongos . Tony is a good guy at heart .
I too admit i have been outspoken on a couple of occasions but i do enjoy the feedback and points of views good and bad .
As like anyone , i know i am not always right so to get other views on any subject is a good thing .

I agree the very personal comments should be seen too .
But also think phil that all persons on the site should have a vote on the possible banning ?
This is because some people may target certain members to simply get rid of them , when in actual fact many people choose to quietly enjoy reading the comments without replying .
I look at the many views of all members , i give example of these
Yes FUI FUI , BONGOS, THE KEN , JAMESEY AND MORE , I come on the site and i like to read their views and ideas and most of any critisism to anyone is simply point of view ,
Only in extreme cases of persistant (bashing) should anyone be removed from the site .
Can i suggest a new added list of respected members (send an email to members who are respected for their input and effort to the site ) Then have a small tab on the page where persons can have a look at the respected members of the site so they know they are trusted by 1 eye .
These persons on the site have adleast earned respect from everyone here and they would then be excluded from immediate removal unless the circumstances warrant the removal .
This is like a second chance to respected members who have spent at least a year of commitment to your site .
I see this as a reward from 1eye to the member for their continued support in promoting your site and business .
I WOULD NOT LIKE TO BE ON A SITE THAT NO ONE CAN COMMENT OR AGREE TO DISAGREE , IN SAYING THIS I ALSO WISH TO SEE THE RESPECTED MEMBERS LIKE BONGOS,FUI FUI,JAMESEY ,TINKS ECT ALL STAY HERE . THE SITE IS A GOOD SITE , DONT DESTROY IT .
I Think it is fair to say that most comments not wanted are by visitors to the site that simply have no respect and or are followers of the oposition sides .
